The Lexington Police Department warned drivers to be on alert for lane closures in the area of Augusta Road (US-1) near Dooley Road. A collision was causing congestion, Monday afternoon. No injuries were reported and the road was cleared later.
Lexington Police officers were directing traffic around a rock spill on Augusta Road (US-1) at Cedarcrest Drive, Friday afternoon. Police asked drivers to consider an alternate route until the road was reopened. All lanes were reopened around 3:30 p.m.
The Lexington Police Department needs to identify two people. The LPD said the two stole a set of keys while at the Lexington Walmart on July 12.
