Cayce Police were asking drivers to please avoid the area around the Blossom Street Bridge, on Knox-Abbott Drive, near Guignard Park, Wednesday evening. There was a motor vehicle collision that occurred around 6 p.m. Traffic was being rerouted by emergency crews that responded to the crash. There were several emergency vehicles in the area.
