The Cayce Department of Public Safety shut down Charleston Hwy in the 2200 block, Saturday afternoon. Lexington County Fire service is battling an incident that is creating heavy smoke at American Scrap Iron and Metal. A water supply hose has been stretched across the road. Officers are asking drivers avoid the area.
