Calks Ferry Road was shut down between Pond Branch Road and Old Charleston Road as first responders were on scene for a vehicle accident in the 2600 block of Calks Ferry Road. Drivers were asked to avoid the area until emergency personnel cleared the scene and reopened the road.

An SUV left the road and struck a propane cylinder before stopping in the wood line. The Lexington County Fire Service and Lexington County Sheriff’s Department personnel closed the road to respond to the scene. EMS is evaluating. One person sustained minor injuries. (Lexington County photos)
