The Stuff the Bus event, Saturday, in the Grecian Gardens parking lot raised $2,700.

And a school bus was filled to capacity with food items for the needy. The event was held to benefit Harvest Hope Food Bank and the people it serves.

Contributors came before the 8 a.m. staring time, and kept coming until after the event was scheduled to be over, at 11 a.m., according to Vicki Lewter who helped publicized the event.
