Studio 221 Interiors cuts the ribbon on Meeting Street in West Columbia
Studio 221 Interiors held a ribbon-cutting ceremony, Friday, at 536 Meeting St. in West Columbia. It was sponsored by The River District Merchants Association.
Husband and wife, Brian and Kerri Hubbard, are the owners of Studio 221 Interiors. The new business is in The River District and Brain said the River District is booming and he’s glad to be a part of it.
West Columbia Mayor Tem Miles said the growth of the area began with the Brookland Deveopment after the City of West Columbia made development of the area a priority.
“Growth has pushed all the way up Meeting Street,” Miles said.
Steve Cohen, president of The River District Merchants Association said all the new businesses are local. He also said the business community has received great support from the City of West Columbia.
West Columbia City Councilman David Moye also attended the ribbon-cutting.
