Still Hopes, Laurel Crest running low on supplies, seeking donations, says Cayce-West Columbia Chamber

Still Hopes and Laurel Crest Community Retirement Centers currently have supplies to operate safely but their current inventory will run out shortly.

The Greater Cayce-West Columbia Chamber of Commerce will be collecting supplies at the chamber office every weekday starting Thursday and running through Friday, April 17. The drop-off will be open from 9 AM ’til Noon.

There are a couple of ways to donate. The first option is to bring the donation to the Chamber office. We have a van in our parking lot that will be open. This will allow you to have a no contact drop-off. For larger donations, drop-off outside the normal hours or donation pick-ups, email me to coordinate at [email protected].

Supplies that are needed include the following:

  • Masks
    • Dust (all employees campus wide are required to wear)
    • N95 (medical staff)
    • Homemade (residents and staff)
  • Disposable Gloves
  • Disposable Gowns
  • Hand Sanitizer
  • Disinfectant
  • Shoe Booties
  • Industrial Cleaning Wipes

Chamber President and CEO Richard Skipper said: “I would like to thank you in advance for helping our local retirement communities. A special thanks to Paul Prince, owner of Door to Door Floors, for donating the use of his company van and handling distribution to the retirement centers. Any additional retirement centers can contact Paul at [email protected] for consideration.”
