State Farmers Market in West Columbia is open
The State Farmers Market at 3483 Charleston Highway in West Columbia will remain open during the coronavirus crisis.
The state farmer’s markets in Greenville and Florence, will remain open for regular business, too.
Supporting local farmers during this time is being encouraged.
The South Carolina State Farmers Market has cancelled the Spring Plant and Flower Festival, but there are vendors at the open-air, drive-thru market for spring plant and flowers, along with produce and specialty vendors.
The SC Department of Agriculture has closed all offices to the public.
SCDA personnel are available by phone and email, with many working remotely during the COVID-19 response.
Laboratory samples can still be dropped off at the Consumer Protection Division facility at 123 Ballard Court in West Columbia.
