Developers have submitted plans to build a structure that will contain a Starbucks and Salsarita’s Fresh Cantina on the corner of Chris Drive and Sunset Boulevard.It is a high­ traffic intersection close to where I­-26 and Sunset Boulevard (US 378) meet.

Speculation of the development was first published on westmetronews.net in June.

A plan for a building of about 4,500­-sq-ft. has been submitted to the City of West Columbia.
The review process is just beginning and no completion date has been presented. The .07-­acre lot, that is across from the Waffle House and a new Denny’s, was annexed into the City of West Columbia in June.
