With the game tied at 3, Grayson Stoneking hit the shot that eliminated the Eagles, by a score of 4-3, in the Lower state Championship game. The game was at St. James.

Airport would have had to beat St. James twice to get to the State Championship Series.
Tanner Glen- who had pitched near flawlessly in relief, gave up the winning run.
Stoneking hit the winner with a 1-2 count with two outs in the bottom of the 12th inning.
Airport’s path to the road game was not easy.
The Eagles defeated Hilton Head, 5-0, Friday night, in the 3A State Baseball Playoffs.
Glen came on in relief of Josh Tucker to shut down the Seahawks. The duo combined for the shutout.
That win put Airport in the road match-up Monday with St. James. The Sharks came from behind in the last inning last week to defeat the Eagles.
