“Walk a Mile in Her Shoes” was held at the Statehouse Thursday. Participating were Springdale Town Administrator Jeff Stillwell and Police Chief Kevin Cornett and SC Attorney General Alan Wilson, of Lexington, and two AG’s office prosecutors.

The event is sponsored by Sexual Trauma Services of the Midlands. It’s part of an international men’s march to Stop Rape, Sexual Assault and Gender Violence. A Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event is a playful opportunity for men to raise awareness in their community about the serious causes, effects and remediations to men’s sexualized violence against women.  Click on photos to enlarge
