Springdale Police officers, along with assistance from Lexington County Sheriff deputies, arrested Daniel Scott Burgess, after a traffic stop.

Burgess has been charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Fentanyl 3rd, Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine 3rd, and Tampering with Physical Evidence. Officers seized the illegal narcotics along with $13,766 in cash and the suspect’s vehicle. Burgess was transported to the Lexington County Detention Center for a bond hearing.
