Springdale Mayor Michael Bishop issued his final Mayor’s Message late last week. In his email to constituents Biship said: “I made a promise when I ran that I would only do 2 terms and I’m honoring that promise.

Bishop was first elected in 2012 and served two four-year terms.

“I’m pleased to turn over this position to Juston Ricard,” Bishop said. Ricard was elected Springdale’s new mayor in November.

Bishop also said he is excited for the future of Springdale and he encouraged support for Ricard.
