Rainbow Drive Bridge information from the Town of Springdale:

The Rainbow Drive Bridge is scheduled to be replaced beginning May 2016. The project will include building a new bridge where the current one stands and relocating a portion of Crest Drive. This will eliminate the blind curve currently at Crest and Rainbow.
The proposed Crest Drive relocation is highlighted in green and will be moved closer to Heritage Presbyterian Church. The x’ed out portion is Crest Drive as it is now.
During construction, detour routes will go from Platt Springs to Wattling Road. We are working with SC DOT to keep our residents informed. Feel free to call Jeff Stilwell at Town Hall with any questions. 803-794-0408.
