Snowfall in Lexington County could be 2-to-3 inches, according to 1:30 p.m. report from the National Weather Service
The National Weather Service in Columbia revised its forecast at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday. The snow started coming down in parts of Lexington County around 3 p.m. and was sticking to cars, but not mush was sticking to the ground, despite below freezing temperatures.
The latest prediction is for 2-to-3 inches of snow in Lexington County. The county is also under a Winter Storm Warning, upgraded from a Winter Storm Advisory.
Earlier Charter House Road and Canterfield Road in Lexington County was reported impassable due to black Ice. It was reopened before 4 p.m., Lexington County announced.
