Cayce Department of Public Safety was assisting in a SLED investigation, Sunday morning.

The effort is part of a manhunt for suspect in Cayce. Officers from Cayce, Richland Sheriff’s Department, and SLED were searching an area near the quarry and in the vicinity of I-77.

Ashley Hunter, City of Cayce spokeswoman, said “there are many officers in a confined area ensuring public safety.” She also said: “Please follow the City of Cayce social media sites to receive any official updates, news or alerts.”
