The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department is reports it is attempting to make contact with a man at his home on Blackthorn Drive in Gilbert after he threatened to hurt a family member. The report was posted shortly before 4 p.m., Tuesday. 4:53 p.m., the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department reported that Blackthorn Drive is completely closed. No traffic will be allowed in or out.

There have been no injuries reported. The man is alone in his home.
We believe he’s armed, so the LCSD says it is taking every precaution to keep everyone safe.
