According to the National Weather Service- Columbia, a strong cold front will approach the Lexington County area Wednesday morning bringing the risk of severe weather into early Wednesday afternoon. Damaging wind gusts are the primary threat. Strong winds are expected through the day with wind gusts around 40 mph through the afternoon.
