Sen. Nikki Setzler says road through Quail Hollow would be devastating

Below is a letter released by state Sen. Nikki Setzler: setzler

My friend, – This is incredibly important…

You may not have heard, but SCDOT is considering solutions to fix the “Carolina Crossroads” — or what most of us know as Malfunction Junction at the intersection at I-20/I-26/I-126.

One of the alternatives SCDOT has proposed would go through Quail Hollow.

I AM 100% AGAINST THIS PROPOSAL.

I love Quail Hollow. It’s a wonderful community. And if SCDOT chooses this alternative proposal, it would be absolutely devastating to the people who live there.

As soon as I heard SCDOT was closing the public comment period before most people had even heard about the Quail Hollow alternative, I called Transportation Secretary Christy Hall and asked her to extend the public comment period.

As a result, SCDOT has extended the public comment period through November 1.

That means we have a few more days to make our voices heard. But not many.

It is CRITICAL that we take action IMMEDIATELY!

All you have to do is tell SCDOT that you too are against this alternative. It will only take you a few minutes… but it will make a HUGE difference in our fight to save Quail Hollow.

Follow this link to leave your comment opposing the Malfunction Junction alternative that would go through Quail Hollow.

After you leave your comment, please share this information with as many folks as possible. We need to let all of our neighbors know this is happening before it’s too late.

Thank you for considering this urgent matter.

Yours in service,

Nikki

P.S. I need two things from you right away: first, please leave your comments opposing the “Carolina Crossroads” Quail Hollow alternative; then, share this message with as many folks in and around Quail Hollow as you can.
