It looks like a deli sandwich shop and a hair-cutter are coming to the new shopping complex at Knox-Abbott Drive and Charleston Highway, in Cayce.

“Schlotzsky’s has pulled a permit to upfit a space in the building next to the Walmart Neighborhood Market,” said Ashley Hunter, spokeswoman for the City of Cayce. “Great Clips has applied for sign permits at the same location.”

There are outparcels being constructed currently beside the Walmart store. The Walmart grocery is scheduled to hold a grand opening on June 29. Upgrades to the intersection in front of the store are complete. Those improvements include a traffic light and paving.
