The South Carolina Department of Transportation will close and detour the Pine Street bridge over Congaree Creek in Lexington County for repairs beginning January 26.

The bridge is expected to reopen on February 6. These dates may change depending on weather conditions.

As part of this closure a detour route has been set up. A map of the detour can be found below. Please note that Pine Street will be open to local traffic only, except at the bridge site.

SCDOT asks that drivers slow down and pay attention to signs and crews when driving through the area.
