Marking a major milestone for the Interstate 20 Interchange Improvement Project in Lexington County, earlier this morning the South Carolina Department of Transportation opened the bridge on US 1 over I-20 to vehicle traffic.

In keeping with the Department’s commitment to its Strategic 10-Year Plan, SCDOT has more than 100 miles of interstate highway improvements underway in South Carolina.

SCDOT asks drivers in this area to use caution as the motoring public adjusts to this new traffic pattern.
