Savage Craft Ale Works, the brewery at 430 Center St., West Columbia, has introduced its first canned brewed product.

Hazy India Pale Ale is now available. It’s in an ornate and colorful black Galaxy Banger can that features an astronaut reaching for illuminated hanging hops.

Steve Cohen, president of the WECO River District Merchants Association said: “I had to get my newly canned four pack of this awesome beer. Can’t beat this cool can. In the heart of the WeCo River District.”

The brew is a hazy dark and tropical New England-style IPA. Savage Craft’s flagship hazy IPA hit the retail shelves on Wednesday. You can also get it in the Savage Craft taproom.

The 7.5% ABV hazy IPA is hopped with 4 lbs of Galaxy hops per barrel, according to Savage Craft’s description. The to-go four pack cans are $16.97 for a 4 pack 16 oz. cans.
