Newcomers Christina Rucker and Bud Summers were elected to the Lexington 2 School Board Tuesday. Linda Alford-Wooten was re-elected.

Rucker received 7023 votes for 20 percent. Summers got 6030 votes for 17 percent. Alford-Wooten received 6464 or 19% percent.

There were seven candidates on the ballot, running for three seats. Brad Giles got 5247 votes of 15 percent. Wayne McKim got 4084 votes and 12 percent. Denise Rish Setzler received 3566 votes or 10 percent. Michael Neal got 2397 votes or 7 percent.
