With the June 28, Republican Primary Runoff for Register of Deeds getting closer, Rich Bolen picked up the support from two Lexington County leaders on Saturday. Sen. Ronnie Cromer and Rep. Todd Atwater jumped on board Bolen’s campaign.

“Ever since the June 14primary, leaders across Lexington County have gotten on board our campaign,” Bolen said. “They are looking for a qualified professional with a long-time dedication to conservatism. I am extremely grateful for all the support I am receiving.”

Cromer, whose district includes Chapin and parts of Irmo and Lexington, endorsed Bolen after taking a close look at the two remaining candidates.

“I’ve worked with Rich for some time now. He is not only one of the top professionals in real estate law in the area, but he has always been able to work with the delegation effectively on the issues that face our communities. Rich Bolen gets my support because he is the perfect fit for the office of Register of Deeds.”

Atwater, who represents North Central Lexington County, trusts Bolen to do the job.

“I’ve known Rich since Law School and have worked with him for many years. He has the character and integrity to serve the people of Lexington well. I believe he is the most qualified person in the race.”

The momentum Bolen has built has him cautiously optimistic about the runoff election.

“It is clear that people across the county are joining our team, but we still have to have the most votes come June 28th. The people that are stepping up to the plate every day will help us do just that.”
