Ribbon is cut on Lexington Regional Rehabilitation Hospital in Cayce

The Greater Cayce-West Columbia Chamber Chamber sponsored a Ribbon-Cutting for Lexington Regional Rehabilitation Hospital, Wednesday.

A Lexington Regional Rehabilitation Hospital is at 3085 Taylor Road in Cayce. It’s on the street leading into Concord Park near Cayce Elementary School and Busbee Creative Arts Academy (a middle school) off of 12th Street Extension. The Busbee Children’s Choir performed at the ribbon-cutting.

According to its website, Lexington Regional Rehabilitation Hospital provides rehabilitative services to people recovering from disabilities caused by injuries or illnesses. The goal is to help patients regain their physical or cognitive abilities so they can return home at their highest level of independence.

There are also similar facilities in Elgin, Greenwood and Spartanburg in South Carolina, as well as several other states. (Cayce-West Columbia Chamber photo)
