It was a cool overcast evening, Friday. The Kenny George Band blended the sounds of drums and guitars with the flowing of the Congaree River in the background.

“It was good to bring Rhythm on the River back after a long break because of COVID,” said Steve Cohen, a Chamber Board member who volunteers to work the concerts. “We look forward to more in the future.”

Friday marked the finale of the Fall Rhythm on the River concerts. Four were scheduled for the month of October. The popular series of music acts is expected to be back in the spring at the West Columbia Riverwalk Amphitheater.
