Residential retirement complex coming to West Columbia at the former Lexington 2 District offices site on 9th Street

Brookland Commons is coming to the site at 715 Ninth Street in West Columbia. Brookland Commons, a part of the Still Hopes Ministry, is a planned community for adults, 55 and older, in the former Lexington School District Two facility.

The building that is there, that was once the Lexington Two District Offices, is being renovated and the site is expected to be ready for occupancy in the fall of 2027. Brookland Commons will also include 172 apartments and 12 residential buildings, described as cottages. Deposits are being accepted now. Click here
