The Real Estate School of South Carolina cut the ribbon at its new facility at 1083 Harbor Drive, West Columbia, Tuesday. It is also the office for South Carolina Realty.

Melissa Sprouse-Browne and Chip Browne are the owners. The business moved from 101 Medical Circle three years ago. The new building was dedicated to the memory of Col. Charles Browne who established the school in the 1970s. The new facility is a remodeled 1960s brick ranch. The Lexington Chamber of Commerce sponsored the ribbon-cutting.
