Protests against mandatory vaccination held on Sunset Boulevard in West Columbia, Tuesday

A group of about 20 people held up signs in protest of mandatory COVID vaccinations, Tuesday. The protest took place in front of Lexington Medical Center around noon.

One member described the group as “concerned citizens.”

The signs they held promoted freedom to choose not to take the COVID vaccine. Other signs promoted alternative COVID treatments including Ivermectin and Regeneron. Drivers passing by sounded their horns and gave thumbs up from the vehicle window. One man shouted opposition toward the protesters.
