The number of positive COVID tests decreased from 48 percent to 44 percent, Lexington Medical Center reported Friday. On Thursday, 1,729 COVID tests were performed and and 44 percent were positive. On Wednesday, 2,111 tests were performed and 48 percent of those came back positive.

The number of COVID patients hospitalized at LMC was 112 on Friday. That was up one patient from Thursday, when 111 were in the hospital with COVID.
The ICU number decreased from 22 on Thursday to 18 on Friday.
