A portion of Sunset Boulevard in Lexington will be closed from from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., on Wednesday and Thursday of this week, according to the Lexington Police Department.
Be prepared for delays and possible traffic congestion on Sunset Blvd. near Palmetto Park Blvd.
Westbound traffic on Sunset Blvd. at Palmetto Park Blvd. will be diverted into a single traffic lane during both days due to construction in the area of the Lexington Square Shopping Center.
Those driving through the area are reminded to be mindful of changing traffic conditions and always to be alert for slowing or stopped vehicles in the roadway.
