Bryan Wesley Rogers, age 58 of Wellsford, SC, has been arrested according to Lexington Police Chief Terrence Green. Rogers was the subject in an undercover investigation where police said he traveled to the Town of Lexington to meet with a minor for sex. It was not a minor, but wan an undercover detective.

On January 11, 2023, a detective with the Lexington Police Department, who is on the South Carolina Attorney General Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC), was contacted by Bryan Rogers through social media, believing that the profile was of a young teenage girl.  

When the undercover detective told Bryan Rogers about her age, he responded by saying, “I like young peeps.”  Bryan Rogers continued saying that he wanted to take her to a hotel and have sex.  Bryan Rogers engaged in continued sexual conversation with the undercover detective, sent nude photographs of himself and pornography.
