Emily Shafer, who attends Pine Ridge Middle School, was selected as the Lexington School District 2 Student of the Month during the Cayce-West Columbia Chamber of Commerce Breakfast, Tuesday.

Pine Ridge Principal Brad Coleman presented Emily with the award.
