Traffic on I-26 at Piney Grove Road was slowed Tuesday afternoon, according to the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department.
The interstate was blocked as several emergency crews responded to a person jumping from the Piney Grove Road overpass into the westbound lanes of I-26.

The person was transported for further medical treatment at a local hospital. Injury information or condition is not available.
