Pedestrian dies after being struck by vehicle on Lexington County road

Lexington County Coroner, Margaret Fisher, has identified the person who died in a vehicle vs. pedestrian accident in the 1800 block of Jim Spence Road in the Lexington area of Lexington County at approximately 7:55 a.m., Friday.

According to Fisher, Ms. Carrie Sabrina Isenhower, 32, of Lexington was walking westbound on Jim Spence Road when she was struck by a vehicle traveling eastbound. Ms. Isenhower was pronounced dead on scene due to the injuries sustained in the collision. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and was not injured.

The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department and the South Carolina Highway Patrol continue to investigate the incident.
