There’s been a change in stores in West Columbia.

Overstock Bins will open at 9 a.m. Friday at the Dream Deals location in Sunset Court, 2271 Sunset Blvd. Stephen Hennessey is the owner of Overstock Bins. Overstock Bins is across from Food Lion and Grecian Gardens.

Hennessey is moving Overstock Bins from the old K-Mart location in Lexington to West Columbia. He said much of the product in the “great deals on grab-bag” business will come from name-brand retailers like Amazon, Target, Staples, Wayfair and others.

Hennessey said he buys truckloads of inventory and sells it in bins. The items come from business cleanouts, and liquidations. Shoppers could find high-priced items for very little money.

Lines formed for the opening of Dream Deals in August of 2020. Dream Deals owner has gotten out of the business.
