1 A Litter 1

Over 2 tons of litter picked up during West Columbia’s City Wide Litter Pick Up, Saturday

More than 50 volunteers showed up for West Columbia’s City Wide Litter Pick Up, Saturday.

On hand were: Mayor Tem Miles and his family; Councilman Joseph Dickey; Councilman Mickey Pringle and his family; Councilman Mike Green; City Administrator Brian Carter and his son; and many city staff. The group picked up almost two tons of litter from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m.

West Columbia is ranked #1 in the Keep the Midlands Beautiful Consumer Index Study for Lexington County and it is because of volunteers who give their time, not just today but monthly, to keep our city clean.
