The South Carolina Department of Transportation has closed Old Chapin Road near Reed Avenue due to a failed culvert at Fourteen Mile Creek.

Traffic on Old Chapin Road traveling toward Columbia Avenue (US-378) will be detoured onto Reed Avenue. Old Chapin Road at Columbia Avenue will be closed. Use Reed Avenue as a detour around the closed roadway. According to the Lexington Police Department, the SCDOT plans to reopen Old Chapin Road sometime on Wednesday. LPD images.
