Harman

Doodle was a lifetime member of Mt. Hebron UMC. He served his community and his Lord in many ways. A good musician, singing in the choir was an extra special joy.
Mr. Harman was educated in Lexington School  District Two and was a 1961 graduate of Brookland-Cayce High School. He graduated from Newberry College in 1965. Having majored in Accounting he pursued a career in banking and worked at The Lexington State Bank for more than 25 years. He was also self-employed and proprietor of Grampy’s Food & Fuel until 2006 when he retired to enjoy his most treasured adventure – being Grampy to Nicholas and Caleb.

Kind and generous with his talents, abilities, and an open ear to always listen and help, his warm smile and sense of humor put others at ease. He was truly a renaissance man.
