Charlene Louise Mungo
September 19, 1937 ~ August 17, 2021 (age 83)

Charlene Jeffords Mungo, 83, of West Columbia, joined our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 17, 2021. She was born on September 19, 1937, in Columbia, SC to the late Charles M. Jeffords Jr. and Dorothy Brazzell in the Rosewood Community. She walked hand in hand through the gates of heaven with the love of her life of 67 years, her husband, Franklin Thomas Mungo.

She is survived by her three children: Tommy (Chris) Mungo-Speer, Sherry (Doug) Snyder, and Debbie (Gene) Jackson; six Grandchildren; Charlie Snyder, Josh Jackson, Cori (Bobby) Brittain, Jacob (Jessica) Jackson, Jenifer (Nick) Gooding, J.T. Mungo-Speer and 11 great-grandchildren; Hunter, Taylor, Price, Owen, Brit, Taryn, Jacelyn, Parker, Tyler, Carolyn, and Mack. Also, surviving are her siblings, Jackie (Morris) Dorn and Michael Jeffords.
She will Truly be missed by her family and friends who she loved spending time with.

A Celebration of life will be held 2:00pm, Friday, August 27, 2021, at Trinity Baptist Church in Cayce, SC. Visitation will be held prior to the service at 1:00pm at the Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the East Fork Baptist Church, 13175 Cruso Road, Canton, NC 28716.

Franklin Thomas Mungo, Sr., 85, of West Columbia, joined our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on August 17, 2021. He was born on November 21, 1935, in Kershaw, SC to the late S.C. Mungo and Etta Byrd Mungo in the Flat Creek Community of Lancaster County. He walked hand in hand through the gates of heaven with his loving wife of 67 years, Charlene Jeffords Mungo.

He is survived by his three children: Tommy (Chris) Mungo-Speer, Sherry (Doug) Snyder, and Debbie (Gene) Jackson; six grandchildren; Charlie Snyder, Josh Jackson, Cori (Bobby) Brittain, Jacob (Jessica) Jackson, Jenifer (Nick) Gooding, J.T. Mungo-Speer and 11 great-grandchildren; Hunter, Taylor, Price, Owen, Brit, Taryn, Jacelyn, Parker, Tyler, Carolyn, and Mack. He was predeceased by his parents and 6 siblings.
