C. Kent Rolan Obituary

Crosson Kent Roland, age 84, of West Columbia returned to the arms of his maker on 5 February 2022.  

He was proceeded by his parents, Robert Lewis Roland and Essie Loretta Hallman Roland.  He graduated from Palmer Junior College with an Associate’s Degree in Business.  He was a self-employed insurance salesman for many years in the Columbia, SC area.  He was married to Martha Harpe Roland for over fifty-seven years.  He is survived by his wife, Marth Harpe Roland, his son Jason Kent Roland, his daughter-in-law Dawn Hatchell Roland, their children, Jacob, Crosson, Dillon, and Caden Roland, his daughter, Amari Roland Paulovic and her children Akiva, Jennifer Frida, and Eva-Marie Paulovic.  

C. Kent Roland was an active member at Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church in West Columbia where he taught Sunday School for over forty years.

Gwendolyn Fleming Obituary

Gwendolyn Delk Dennis Fleming, 91, of West Columbia passed away Thursday February 3, 2022 at her home. She was born in Blackville, SC, the daughter of the late Furman W. Delk, Jr. and Mildred Bonds Delk. Mrs. Fleming was a 1947 graduate of Brookland Cayce High School and attended USC. She worked in the insurance industry until well into her 80s and was a member of State Street Baptist Church of Cayce. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and was the matriarch of the Delk family.
Mrs. Fleming is survived by her son, Barry Dennis and grandson, Shawn Dennis; sisters, Jackie Bradham and Wanda Phillips and brother, W. L. “Bo” Delk; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her spouses, Arthur Fleming and Isaac K. Dennis and brother, Phillip Dunbar Delk.

Kathy Treadway Obituary

Kathy L. David Treadway, 68 of Cayce, SC entered into eternal rest on Tuesday February 1, 2022 at 2:15 pm.  Kathy was born on September 27, 1953 in Richland County, SC.  She was the daughter of Dorothy David and the late Leon David.  Kathy is preceded in death by her husband and only true love, Carl Allen Treadway, her sister Brenda David and brother Billie Jean David.

 Kathy was the proud owner and operator of Shooter’s Grill & Pub in Cayce, SC from 2000 to 2017.  Through those years she gained an extended family and met some of her truest and closest friends.

Kathy’s greatest past times was sitting on her back deck watching the wild birds.  She also loved shopping, crafts and spending time with family and friends.

Kathy is survived by her children Chad Clark of Lexington, SC and daughter, Sonya Clark of West Columbia, SC, mother, Dorothy David of Columbia, SC, brother, Michael David of Blythwood, SC, sister, Margaret David Rowe of Columbia, SC and grandchildren, Cameron Clark, Kierstan Chavis, Ayden Gibson and Sara Clark as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
