Northside Middle School gets bright new mural

Northside Middle School in West Columbia got its halls brightened over the summer.

Artists Karen Petta and Monica Myrick painted a bold and bright mural in the main thoroughfare of the school. Northside Middle Principal Lisa Davis said the mural is bold representation of NMS pride. The painting that took three-to-four weeks to complete, even has an embedded tribute to Jane Taylor. She has been with the school, in its office, for more than 30 years.
