The Irmo Police Department investigated a collision Friday morning at Piney Grove and Saint Andrews Road, around 10:30 a.m., Friday.

A vehicle collided with a train. There were no serious injuries reported by the IPD. Officers were assisted by Irmo Fire District and the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department in an effort to control traffic.
