Since it’s founding in 1972, the Nancy K. Perry Children’s (NKP) Shelter has provided safe harbor for more than 5,000 children in Lexington County.

The Shelter exists to provide residential care and nurture to children who are in crisis. Over the past year, many volunteers have crossed the threshold at Nancy K. Perry Children’s Shelter and performed tasks from tutoring the children to performing a concert to raise funds for the shelter.

On April 22, the shelter’s staff recognized some of the hard work of these groups and individuals. (Photos Below, Click to enlarge.)
