Jose Maria Gonzalez-Linares, 13, has been identified as the eighth-grade student who was killed in the Pine Ridge Middle School bus crash on I-77 Thursday. Link to announcement It was first announced earlier that the name of the fatality victim would be withheld. The Chester County Coroner’s Office released the identity of the student.

One report sated that more than 35 people were taken to hospital as a result of the crash. The students visited the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte as a part of the trip.
