A collision involving a motorcycle had the outbound lanes of Sunset Blvd (US-378) at Palmetto Park Blvd. closed, Saturday. The crash was reported by the Lexington Police Department at about 5 p.m. Traffic was detoured around the scene through a business parking lot. The LPD expected the closure to last for several hours. Police asked drivers to seek an alternate route if possible.

The driver of the car and the rider of the motorcycle were transported from the scene by EMS. Their conditions have not been made available.
