Monday is Black Balloon Day to remember those who lost their lives to overdoses

On Monday (March 6) wear black to remember those who have lost their lives to overdoses. The Taylor Watford Foundation is commemorating three local tragedies. Taylor Watford, Seth Vining and Matthew Standridge. Overdose deaths are at an epidemic level in Lexington County and the United States. More than 108,000 die annually from overdoses.

Black Monday is an effort to say: “We miss them very much and we wish they could see how their stories are touching and saving people’s lives,” through the Taylor Watford Foundation, that is “giving hope to life,” said Jade Watford, TWF Board Member.
