Midlands Technical College and Michelin are offering a job fair that focuses on advanced manufacturing jobs in the Columbia area.
The MTC and Michelin job fair is from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 14. It’s at the MTC Airport Campus, 1260 Lexington Drive in West Columbia. It’s in MTC’s new Advanced Manufacturing and Skilled Crafts Center.
The job fair is free and open to the public.
At the fair, Michelin will accept applications for entry-level production positions and MTC will highlight training and education options that can help people prepare for manufacturing-related careers.
Michelin offers full scholarships to qualifying students in the MTC’s Electronics Engineering Technology program.Students with degrees from MTC are strong candidates for full-time positions at Michelin.
