After winning the first two, the Midland Ozone baseball team lost its second game Tuesday to North Carolina in the World Series in Lumberton, NC. The team represents Midland Dixie Youth Baseball from Pine Ridge.

Team South Carolina – or Midland Ozone – defeated Louisiana 13-3 on Saturday. South Carolina defeated Texas 2-0 on Sunday. The team suffered its first loss on Monday, when South Carolina fell 3-2 to Alabama. (Shaun Palyok photo)
